Research revealed that Lithuania lacks a strategic approach to national crime prevention, while professionals and experts working in the field of human trafficking do not always maintain proactive position in initiating prosecutions and representing the interests of (potential) victims. The study formulates recommendations for a more effective fight against human trafficking.
